I've been at it for a few weeks now! I'm very very loosely following the WW plan with the intention of paying for a subscription (online) when I reach 30 pounds lost.
So far I'm at 24!!! I have so many WW points allotted to me that it's not difficult to stay under. I vary my intake from day to day (some days very high, some days very low) and watch nutrition labels closely for sugar, carbs, & fat (not just calories).
When I start WW at 30 pounds lost I'm looking forward to seeing how many less points I'll have to choose from and I'll really have to buckle down and start tracking.
I noticed that I lost the most weight the week I swam laps and did water aerobics so I'm trying to push past my busy schedule and start swimming again.
The ironic thing is that I used to go to the gym 5 days a week for an hour at a time. I was eating plenty and pretty healthy too. But it seems to be cutting out fast food and 95% of my soda intake (now it's a treat with certain foods) that's done it. When I was at the gym all those hours the most I ever lost was 15 pounds in a few months.
3 more pounds lost and I'll be out of the 'Morbid Obesity' range!!!
I'm SO happy. I've had several people tell me I look fantastic, or that they can tell I've lost weight. Obviously I cant see it - but it's a great feeling
I FEEL lighter and I feel better in my clothes.
I just wanted to check in and see how everybody else is doing, I have a feeling I'll be here more and more often as this gets harder and harder.
