Background info: I did WW to lose over 40 pounds 2 years ago. Once I started working out a lot, I hit a VERY heavy plateau and went off plan. I continued to use common sense in my eating and ended up gaining just 5 of those pounds back.
Fast forward to present day, I'm still working out a lot and decided to give WW a go again to try to lose the rest of the weight. Today, as I said, is day 3, and I struggled. As of right now, I've used all my points for the day and I'm still hungry. I had to eat a high-point dinner because I work at a pizza place and when I got to work, my blood sugar crashed making me feel VERY dizzy and ill. I had a very small personal pan pizza (I made it myself, so I made it very thin crust and with very light cheese), but I still figured it was kind of high on points. I had a hearty salad with it with lite dressing so that didn't add any points.
I'm just struggling right now and since today was my day off of my workout, I didn't get any activity points to use. I still have a bunch of my weekly points to use, but I shouldn't be hungry. I'm just having a bad day, and I guess I'm looking for encouragement from you ladies who are currently in the plan.
I hear ya and I feel your pain. Today is a struggle for me, too. I've been doing a lot of writing today, which makes me hungry as heck, but burns no calories. I've been trying to stave off the hunger monster with lots of cups of hot herbal tea.
If you can just get through this day, tomorrow will probably be better. It generally is -- especially after a good night's sleep.
Me too girls. Some days are just hard. At 1pm I was out of points. I am a bottomless pitt today. And feeling pretty crumy about the whole thing. I guess it's no point soup for me tonight. I jsut did not make good choices today.
I have found so far that being prepared is the best way to combat those feelings of helpless hunger. Make sure you have portable low point snacks on hand like baby carrots, celery, cherries, almonds, oranges, apples, etc. Even at work you can take a 5 minute break and get in a small snack to help you avoid bad food choices.
Light salad dressing add points, so be careful of how much you use. Typically 2 TBS is 1 point, but it can be different for the various varities offered.

We have those little packets and according to the nutrition info on there, 1 packet is 0 points, so I'm just careful to use just one packet and not use any green olives (so bummed that they have 'countable' points, they are a vegetable!....sort of).
Awesome on the dressing being point free! I wasn't sure if it was served in a souffle cup like they are in a lot of restaurants.
I thought olives were fruit because they have seeds? Same with tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, and eggplant. Either way, I know olives are points because I LOVE the green ones! Don't worry, I get grumpy when I have to count a ½ point for 8 baby carrots! They're CARROTS for crying out loud!!!! haha
