Weigh In Tips for an Evening Meeting?
Tomorrow is my 2nd weigh in!! I'm so excited for it because I know I've been really good on plan this week!
But my question for those of you with evening meetings is this, what do you do all day to prepare?
Do you eat a lighter lunch?
Drink less water?
Any tips you can offer?

Ya know, it doesn't really matter WHAT the routine is as long as it is consistent, ya know? Cause in all reality, the numbers are relative. If I'm x this week and have the same routine and am x-1 next week, it is the -1 that is important, not the x.
And tryng to minimize the number in any given week is kind of "futile" because if it is "false low" as a result of, say, not eating all day. The numbers ALWAYS catch up with you. SO, IMHO the less worrying about it the better.
I do evening weigh-ins. I wear the same clothes every week. I take my shoes off. I have a "normal lunch" and drink water normally through-out the day. I defer my supper until after my weigh-in cause that's when DH and I go out for dinner.
Your routine should be just that -- what you do every week prior to weigh in. So that's my only tip -- be consistent! And relax -- this WILL work.

I have a friend who does WW Monday evening weigh ins - 7pm, I believe. I know she is really careful with sodium the day before and day of. I also believe she has lunch/snack, but she waits to eat her evening meal/dinner until she gets home from meeting. She had one early weigh in where she actually GAINED and she blamed it on having had to eat dinner on her way to meeting because she had to be somewhere else after. She is losing between 1-3 lbs per week this summer.
Good luck!

I just eat normally throughout the day and drink my normal amount of water. I eat dinner after my meeting. I weigh in Mondays at 6pm.

I agree with kiramira about just being consistant. Try to eat the same size lunch at around the same time. I too try to watch my sodium the days prior to weigh-in. Just remember if you do it one week you need to do it every week if you want the most accurate results.

Haha, this reminds me of something someone at my last meeting said... about how, when they were thisclose to Lifetime staus, they would actually go in the bathroom and remove their bra before the weigh-in, just to shave off that extra couple of ounces!
I have an evening meeting, too, but I also just treat the day as I would any other. Like Kiramira said, you don't want to create a false low weight!

I go crazy about this, and desperately try to find new ways to shave off a couple of extra ounces before my 7pm Tuesday/Wednesday weigh-in.
I don't drink any carbonated drinks for at least 48hrs before the weigh-in. I wear the same top and gym trousers, which I think are the lightest top and gym trousers I own, as well as no jewellery, light underwear and no shoes! I eat a light breakfast and lunch, and nothing passes my lips after that, although unfortunately I can sometimes end up light-headed by the time I go to my meeting! I eat my dinner after my meeting, and drink lots of green tea, cold water and cranberry juice for 48hrs before the weigh-in.
I have even been known to shave my legs/pluck my eyebrows just in case I was an ounce away from triggering that half-pound lower!
I even read that you can trigger weight-loss hormones by twirling around, so I do that a lot the day of my weigh-in.
Call me obsessed, but I just really want to do well in my weigh-in!

Evening Weigh In
This will be my first weigh in since starting on WW last Wednesday. I did weigh myself this morning and showed a signaficant loss. I know it will be different this evening since I will have clothes on and I have eaten and drank. I just do not want to get discouraged. Any suggestions on how to stay focused on the long term?
