I signed up for WW

  • I signed up for the monthly pass/etools. I have my first meeting tomorrow. What should I expect? I'm nervous.
  • Don't be nervous! I love meetings. When you go in, you might have to fill out some paperwork... One of the receptionist people will have you get on a scale to get your first WI information. Nobody but you and the receptionist weighing you know this info. The meeting will be about a half hour to 45 minutes depending on how things work in your area. Meetings vary - we all talk about the same things each week, but places do celebrations differently. Basically if you have something to share (a lesson learned, a scale success, a non-scale success), you can share, but no one is forced to do so. Just sit back and enjoy the first couple you go to, and share if you feel comfortable. I think they are great experiences, and look forward to every one of them! Hope you have a great time.
  • I know I filled some information on the computer when I signed up for the monthly pass. I already printed off my temporary card. I'm so excited. And now, I actually have to start doing something about my backsliding.
  • I joined weight watchers 5 days ago and I'm loving it! I'm eating a lot of food and I'm not hungry! I'm just eating more fiber and protein to keep me full and really watching the portion sizes. I finally feel like I found a diet I can stick with.
The meeting was actually kind of fun and went by really fast. You check in, get weighed, and then the leader will have a topic that they want to discuss. Then all the people that have been there for more than one week, and want to share, will share any personal goals/ lessons learned/ losses/ etc. It was fun and I am actually excited about going back next week!
  • I went today and I didn't die! They were so nice and they went over the basics of WW as a get back to basics for everyone. I even got a shopping bag that is super nice and I got the deluxe kit. I love the new food tracker. I can't wait for next week.
  • My 5% goal is 13 pounds and my 10% is 26. 13 pounds will be at 244. Although on their scale, I am 5 pounds heavier than my home scale.
