Default Tips for Disneyland??

Howdy all,

My ten year old daughter and I are driving to Sacramento via Los Angeles. It's probably our only chance to visit Mickey and the gang.

If you have been, what attractions would you suggest -either the "don't miss" or don't bother categories.

And, what would be a decent hotel choice for a single female -pricewise and securitywise. A workout room would be nice too.
I do plan to search the web, but wanted to poll the audience.

Many thanks!

My all time favorite ride is the Temple of doom . I love it . I also love the old railroad . It's their form of public transportation & is a little hoaky in places but I still like it as much now as when I was 10 . Dora I can't find my Disneyland stuff . I must have recycled it . I'll look some more . Kathy

Hi Dora,

If you're not afraid of "big rides", don't miss space mountain. It's a roller coaster ride "through outer space" (i.e. it's PITCH BLACK). I love to ride it wearing dark sunglasses so that I can't see a thing, even with my eyes open.

Indiana Jones is great, too. And for a great laugh (and some good arm work) don't miss the teapots (just don't eat right before going on it!).

I can't speak to the hotels around there becuase I live in L.A. and have never had occasion to use one....sorry.

HAVE FUN!

-L.
