Default Meeting Question

Hi all,

I joined WW last Tuesday. So far so good as far as staying on plan. This seems like something I can do long-term.

I have a question about the meetings. Do I have to go every week? And if I miss a week, do I have to pay for the one that I missed? It's not that I don't want to go every week, but the least it is per month is over $60 (I'm in Canada) and I already belong to Curves which is over $40. I'm on a fairly tight budget and I don't know that I can fit that much into it every month. I do plan to go to all the meetings the first month.

Thanks!

Donna

You do have to pay for missed meetings, I think it is a way to keep you accountable. It is expensive, but totally worth it!

Have you considered signing up for etools instead of attending meetings? It's far cheaper, though you don't get the added benefit of the in-person WI and group support provided by meetings. At least you'll have a points tracker and all the tools you need. Then maybe you can pay $12 (or more in Cda?) each time you feel like going to a meeting if you have the money and need the extra support one week or something.

Thanks! I guess I'll go with my original plan of going weekly for a month and then see about continuing or going online...or going with this forum.
