i thought i would see if anyone has done both plans and which one is preferred. i thought the core might be better for me since i am not good at logging my food and keeping track of all that stuff, but the core plan sounds just like the carb addicts plan. i tried the carb addicts and it was ok but i just didn't see the results i wanted. anyway before i join i wanted to make sure it was right for me. any input will be appreciated.

I personally did Core for 1 week when it was first introduced, but switched back to Flex because I can't be trusted to stop eating when no longer hungry as outlined with the Core foods. Since you're leaning toward that plan, maybe you should try it for a week or two and see how it goes. There is still some counting going on, when you eat foods that aren't strictly Core, but nothing too detailed. Good luck!
Which is better depends on each individual. Personally I do both...some weeks I do Flex and some weeks I do core.
You need to try both and see which fits you the best.
Both are good plans but it depends on your lifestyle. I'm like Jane - I need to count my points or it goes downhill for me.
My leader encouraged us to try both plans for at least two weeks each and see what worked best.
They are like Fords and Chevys. Some folks prefer one and others the other.
I didn't trust myself with Core when I was starting out, but I do like all the info about staying aware of how hungry you are. I know you're supposed to do it for Flex and Core, but I usually forget about when I'm on Flex, just worry about the pts. I'm trying Core again now that I have a better handle on controlling my eating. I give myself a treat night after I weigh in and it used to be cramming in whatever I was denying myself, now I just don't do that anymore, I still have treats, but not like before, so I'm hoping it'll work for me. My leader says Core is more like how you will eat when you are maintaining. She switches back and forth, she's been at lifetime for about 15 years.
good luck!
