Hello ladies!! I am back from Mexico with a tan and a few less pounds believe it or not! My scale showed me this morning at 170. That means that tomorrow I should be about 169 at weigh in. My scale is a bit higher than at my meetings. I was gone for nine days. It was great. I am happy to be home though. Back on track thank God. I had my malt o meal for breakfast and went to the gym for an hour and burned off 399 calories. Boot camp ended while I was on vacation. Not sure if I will do that again. Although I really enjoyed it, I was so tired from waking up at 5:00 in the morning. Made evenings kind of rough at home. We'll see what happens.

Kim, so glad to see you are back at meetings. They help me so much. CONGRATULATIONS on the HUGE loss!!! Keep it up!!!

Lynn, how are you doing??? Glad to see you still here after we weren't checking in. Let's get back to tracking our food...........

breakfast
malt o meal 3pts

lunch
salad 3pts
crackers with laughing cow cheese 3pts

dinner???????? we will have to see. No plans yet.

Hello there. Guess I'm not quite back in the swing of things. I went to meeting last night and was up to a maintain. That's just fine. I will take it. It so could have been worse.

Yet another game plan. I seem to be coming up with many these days. I am cutting down the personal training to just one day a week. Get this, it will save me $136 a month. This on top of not paying for preschool anymore will be quite a treat. On the days I used to do personal training, I am going to be taking classes at my gym. Found an instructor that is in fabulous shape and teaches great classes. Only downer is I'm back to hitting the gym at 5:30 am. I was really not wanting to do that anymore. I am going to try to make it work. This will be a good thing when school starts so that when I am not being the cross guard and lunch aid, I will have some time to myself and not have to spend it at the gym.

Anyway,,,,,,,,,,,back to this tracking thing AGAIN......

breakfast
Jimmy dean de light breakfast sandwich 5 delicious points.

lunch
delightful bread 1pt
2oz ham 1pt
mustard 0pts
100 cal cheetos 2pts

9 so far. Staying on track today.

Hello everyone.
School is out (except for these darn masters classes I am taking).

Should we celebrate the fact I am down from 217.4 to 206 or lament that I was at 180 something last June and am now up to 206?

I have been attending WW meetings sporadically - consistant gains. I tend to diet on M,T and then enjoy the rest of the week. I perfected the apple pie this winter.

news news - I taught high school kids every other day all last year, skied a ton with the kids, but pretty much haven't exercised since ski season got over. I host "pool parties" a few times a week, so I am in the pool a lot, but not doing laps like I should. I keep wanting to exercise, but not actually doing it. Not exactly a slug, I take the kids for bike rides, but when you are riding slow enough for a 4 year old to keep up, you don't exactly break a sweat. Same with walks and hikes. Haven't acually cancelled my gym membership, but there is dust on my combination lock.

Still have dial up, and can't access the WW website from home without my computer freezing up.

Today:
cereal with milk (3 points)
bites of kids pancakes with syrup (no idea - 5?)

Attended first WW meeting in 2.5 months (up 6lbs)
Why is that if we lost 6 pounds in 2.5 months, it would feel like a different #?

nonfat latte (2)
can't remember lunch.. think, think, think, ...
still thinking

skip to dinner
tofu (4)
veggies (0)
cottage cheese (1)
hummus (2)
wine (2)
pretzels (2)

cottage cheese did the trick. small baked potato with salsa and cottage cheese for lunch (5)

25 point day - priceless

on kids and exercise - don't read this if you don't want to hear whining.

It is so hard to ditch my children lately. DH is working a ton, got a nice promotion though, celebrated with champagne, grandparents on a month road trip, ggparents with shingles (ouch), two different aunt sets out on their yachts for the summer, and the other a bit under the weather, best friend with new baby - I can't get past her porch because we might disturb the sleeping... and the one cousin I do swap kids with, well, I don't want to wear her out. So - it is just me and my children -- with me sometimes wishing I could be like the other teacher mom's that (gasp) leave their kids in day care while they relax on summer vacation. We spend the day building forts, practicing with our scissors and pencil grip, and baking cookies and pies for dad. I am going to have to cut out the cookies and pies for dad and add in a few more "family adventure days" if this is going to work. Sunday I loaded up 1 puppy, 1 toddler, 1 kid, two bikes, a pull behind, and our big dog - we rode to beach and spent the day in the sand. It was fun. But bike rides for me used to be 20 milers not 2 milers.

I just want some me-time. Hard to fit that in with end of the school year chaos, two 20 page projects due and two baby quilts to whip out in the next 3 weeks.

I would never make it as a single mom - hats off to you all.

grandparents will be home in 5 days, tick, tick, tick....

Hi ladies!!! How funny, as I was waiting for my slow computer to sign on, I was thinking I wonder how Morrigan is doing. And, here you are! Great to hear from you.

Okay, so I have been doing horrific!! The worst thing I have ever done to date on Weight Watchers.........well, my husband has been out of town. He is coming back today (Thank God!!). I went and bought a 1/2 gallon of butterfinger loaded Dryer's ice cream. I was having my neighbor and her girls over for dinner (since her DH is out of town too). I thought it would be a quick and easy dessert for all of us. WELL,,,,,I took little spoon fulls all day long. By the time I opened it after dinner it was half gone. We all had 1 scoop after dinner (not a huge amount) and after they left last night I finished off the container. I ate most of the entire container all by myself and all in one day. Gee.........why was I over weight???

So I stepped on the scale this morning like I always used to do. Shows me at 173. I expect that to be higher tomorrow. We will see. I've done ok this morning, but it is only 10:15 am.

I am really gonna try. We leave for Texas on Saturday and will be gone for a week. I will use the in-law's computer to check in though. Good thing is I don't eat much when traveling. I get a nervous stomach.

Morrigan, I am right there with you on the kid thing. Everyone I know does the daycare thing over the summer or at least some all day camps. I don't do anything of the sort. I think I will enjoy myself more if I do stuff with my kids all summer long. So, we too have kept busy. Lots of swimming, vacationing, and having fun in general. However, I am getting wore out. My husband has been away from us all too much this summer. The weekend after we get back from Texas two of my girlfriends and I are headed to a resort for a spa weekend. I hope it brings much needed relaxation and adult conversation.

Will check in later. --Amy

Today so far:
fish (3)
shrimp (1)
carrots with hummus (2)
pretzels (1)
water (0)
strawberries fresh from the garden (1)
chicken/bean soup (6)

17 so far - the chicken soup is really yummy

more soup (3)
24 points
oh.. and more wine (3)

Spent 2 hours in the pool with the kids, just got them down for a nap, poured a glass of wine -- got a call from some high school kids that want math help. Glass of wine on hold, off to Algebra land.

Good morning all. It is 7:20 here and I am back from the gym. Went to the early class that I love. Well, I don't love it but I know it is a killer work out. I actually feel kind of dumb in it. I can't do most of the stuff they do on and over the step. I have no coordination. Then, I get so sick feeling or my heart rate goes up way too high, so I have to march in place some of the time. I also took a look around and I am the largest one in the class. Everyone in there is very fit. I guess that's the company I should be around though.

breakfast
non fat yogurt, blueberries, and granola 3pts
