:moo: |
G,day ladies, Hi Faith my thoughts and prayers are with you and my fingers are crossed all goes well, you,ll be OK I know you are stressed BUT NO COMFORT EATING, unless it is healthy and in points I,m not there to give you a swift kick up the butt so do it for me yourself LOL. Being in bed for 24hrs has it,s good and bad points I guess, Good points you might get waited on by family, you can catch up on some reading, watch a movie, Bad point you might get used to being pampered and want it all the time LOL. Anyway you take care and rest up when you get home wish I could be there for you in person as well as spirit Big Hug anyway.
Hey Ava if your still out there hope your well. Hi beachluvr first of all do you have a name, I know what you mean about getting swamped with info but that is a good thing if you are provided with all the tools then you know you will succeed, I love the WW ready meals and I suppose if you hate cooking and cleaning which I think everyone hates does to some degree it would be OK, the meals are healthy and are easy to keep on points and you can add heaps of green salad or veggies to go with them to help fill you up. I sometimes have them for dinner with a WW ice cream or dessert my DH likes them to I think whatever works best for you and gives you results in the long run is what is important. You also asked how to subscribe to a thread, when you post on a thread it will appear in your User CP or profile, if you want to start a thread go to whatever forum you want and at the bottom it says new thread or start a thread something like that, click onto that and away you go, hope this helps. Well I have started of today good I am giving you permission Faith to have a day or 2 off from fretting about what you eat just concentrate on getting better. OH and thank you very much for the info on the grapes very helpful I am doing points so now I know how many I can eat thanks again. BREKKI: COFFEE, SAUTEED MUSHROOMS IN SWEET CHILLI SAUCE ON 1 SLICE TOAST. SNACK: 1/2 CUP GRAPES AND A GLASS OF SKIM MILK. LUNCH: 1 EGG ON 1 SLICE OF MULTI GRAIN TOAST AND A SLICE OF WW BACON AND A GREEN TEA. SNACK: GREEN TEA AND 2 WW COOKIES. DINNER: WW LAMB WRAPS WITH LOTS VEGGIES WW ICE CREAM. Thanks Juls! My name is Steph. Your meals sound a lot better than mine :)
I just got home from my first social outing. My Godmother's birthday was this evening and we met at her house for a hot dog cookout. There was also chips and that cheesy hamburger dip stuff. All kinds of other greasy wonderful chips and dip! BUT, I only ate one hot dog, on a whole weat bun, 5 tostito scoops with the cheese dip and condiments (sp?) on my hot dog!! AND, and I am sooo excited about this, she had turtle cheesecake, which is my all time favorite. I considered not having any at all, instead, I had two little bites and pushed the rest away. That in itself is a huge accomplishment for me. I've spent the last hour looking up the nutritional value of everything, but it's worth it. Anyway, hope you ladies have a wonderful day tomorrow! |
Hey, Steph your outing sounds like it was fun, from what you say I think you did pretty good seeing all that wonderful food must have been a test on your willpower, YAY to you for pushing away your fav cheesecake after only 2 little bites good for you, I may be an air head but what is turtle cheesecake I,m from downunder and I can,t say I,ve ever heard of it so fill me in please LOL. I see from another one of your posts in another thread that your not married and no kids, so how old are you and where are you from, sorry but I,m nosey LOL, it is good you are reading up on nutrition every little bit of amo helps defeat our enemys flab and overeating LOL well you have a good one catch you later..

Hi Juls!! OMG, Turtle cheesecake is cheesecake with pecans and caramel drizzled on top with a chocolate graham crust. It is sooo good. I am from South Carolina (US). A little town right outside of Augusta, Georgia. Home of the Augusta Nationals (The Masters) if you are into Golf you may have heard of it.
I'm 28 and I don't have kids or husband, which makes it so much easier for me to be selfish about this dieting thing! I don't have anyone else to worry about but me! How about you? Married, Kids? :sklol: |
Hey Steph, yes I,m married for the 3rd time I have a daughter who is 27 I have 5 kids altogether 4 girls and a boy all grown up now the eldest she is 30, I have 10 grandkids too 5 boys and 5 girls I,m 49 will be 50 November 11th but I don,t feel it my kids and grandkids help keep me young, my hubby is Italian and he annoys me sometimes how is it men always look younger than they are it sucks. I know what you mean about being selfish with your dieting being on WW is easy for me though I only have me and DH to worry about and with our meals I always pile on the veggies and with meat or whatever I just give DH a bigger portion. Take care talk to you again soon. Hey Faith thinking of you.

Hi All!!
Hope everyone is doing well! I'm excited to report that I made it through Halloween eating only 1 mini crunch bar and a peppermint patty!! I was sooo good. :) And I've lost 3 lbs in the last week!! woo hoo!!! My mother, bless her heart, says that she can already tell a difference. Unfortunately, she would tell me that after only dieting for 12 hours. But it still makes me feel good. I've started to volunteer to take inter-office mail myself so I can run up and down the stairs. This coming from someone who took the elevator ONE FLOOR!! Anywho, just wanted to share my good news! Juls- I bet 10 grandkids do keep you young! I know they are a blessing. Isn't it the truth about men looking younger (and better) as they get older. Not fair! Hope the rest of the week goes well for everyone! |
I'm Starting WW Again
I've been on WW on and off over the past 10 years. I want to join your group. I need some motivation to help me exercise. I've been working from my home and very busy until late at night. I'll schedule myself an appt. to exercise tomorrow. Good luck to you. You've done an awesome job with your weight loss. Keep it up!

 G,day everyone, hey Steph good to hear from you and what about you 3lbs gone and never to be seen again :encore: :woohoo: and running up stairs :yay: I guess you found your mojo no stopping you now. I,m very proud of you for your will power over Halloween great going, yeah Mums are good aren,t they for a pat on the back and lots of support and encouragement we are priceless ;) and I agree it is not fair about men but I guess it is a stress factor, what we have to put up with and they don,t
Hi and :welcome2: Racing Mama jump aboard always room for one more, what plan are you on I,m doing the points system I find it is working for me and easy to follow, OK we all need help and motivation when it comes to exercise I think it is that word that makes us get :fr: out I tell myself that I,m going for a nice stroll instead or if I ride my indoor bike I put on some mood music and pretend I,m riding in the park next to a beautiful lake and with the drought here downunder I really need some imagination :dizzy:. If you have any questions we are here to help that,s what it,s all about  Well I have had a great day, stayed on points and must of walked miles running around paying bills and shopping, grocerys BORING. Oh and I forgot I had my weigh in on Wednesday and I,m down 2lbs :carrot:. Take care catch you later, nice to meet you Racing Mama, Hey Faith I,m thinking of you hope your OK....JULS :grouphug: |
Hi all. I have been sticking to plan, but since I didn't stick to it the first 3 weeks, I didn't quite reach my goal, but that's ok! I was only 8lbs shy, which means I can do it if I stick to it the whole time for the goal. So, I started a new goal as of today. My new current mini goal is to be 20lbs lighter by New Years day.
|
Hi Ava good to hear from you, don,t sweat it, you know you can do it if you put your mind to it that is the important thing, 20lbs by New Years day you could do it with a lot of disipline or I think with your determination you,ll come dam close, keep us posted and good luck.
Take care.....Juls |
Thanks!
