  • Me TOO!!! While I am not a big poster I have been here since the mass exodus from the WW message board many many moons ago and I have missed this type of thread.....anyone remember the absolutley hilarious "GRAPE DIET" thread... now that had to be a "one of a kind".No wait...I had to edit....LOL I think it originally was the BEET diet and the grape part came some threads later...

    Keep up the good work!

  • I no longer have access during the day at work but yes I've missed these debates...

    Dan,

Fiber was capped because the labels do not break down soluable and insoluble fiber. One is broken down and used by our bodies as well as the fact that so many people (mind you I'm not saying you were one) that were counting excessive calories as 1 or no points and not losing saying the proram didn't work because they didn't use some common sense. Now if counting 4 slices as 1 point worked for you then by all means continue to do so otherwise shut up about it! I'm not being mean but you've debated this fiber thing over and over and over in all the time I've known you.
  • Know what I think? I think it's only one Point one way or the other so why not err on the positive side and count two slices as one Point and not four slices as one Point. We're in this thing to learn portion control, no? We must learn to eat like thin people. Thin people don't pop four slices of toast in the morning just because they can.

As with all high-fiber, low "point" foods, we must keep this in mind: What do we learn if we continue to "stuff" ourselves although we are still within our "Points"?

    Just a curious question.
