Hi there. Lynn, I'm not aware of curing ulcers with antibiotics. Mine was found in 93 with an upper GI. Was told it may give me some problems now and then and how to control it with diet. Too bad I don't remember what to avoid. All I know is to avoid spicy foods. I'm sure I won't even feel it in a couple days. I have been cleaning since 7:30 this morning. It is now 12:15 and I have only stopped to eat lunch. I am going to count this as my activity for the day. :)

and I had a morning snack

It probably doesn't apply to all ulcers.My boss got one and I was amazed she got rid of it with antibiotics.How could anyone avoid spicy food lol.I crave it.

Good afternoon. Hope you guys are having a good day. It is hot here. We are having record heat. We had a student pass out at lunch today from heat and lack of fluids. Can't make them drink. What do you do?

I had a horrible day and drowned my sorrows with too much stuff.On the plus side I knew what I was doing and told myself today feel sorry for yourself and tomorrow use you anger and disappointment to get where you need to.That is a strong motivator living well and being healthy is the best revenge against an idiot.
Hope you guys are doing well.

Hi there. No worries Lynn, you'll be okay. I hate days like that. But they pass (thank gawd)! I have been doing ok. Not great, just ok. Wasn't feeling too well but got some antibiotics last night and they are already helping. Will check in tomorrow.

Hi trulies. Hope the bar-b-que went well. I have grown to love veggie burgers. We even get our kids to eat them. I have had a bad eating day but a great day with my family. Tomorrow brings dinner with my folks and some swimming. I should do ok tho. Will check in later.

I have not had a full week on program in I don't know how long. I want to get back in the groove. Stepped on the scale after the gym this morning, and I am at 173!!! AHHHHHHHH that's horrible!! I quit going to meetings but will sign back up this week.

Went to a new meeting yesterday at a new location. I am changing my ticker to reflect my actual current weight. This is a re-energized point for me. I have 16 official pounds to go to goal!!!!!


Today 25 point target:

yogurt with 1/3C go lean cereal on it 3pts

woke up at 5am and hit the awesome class at the gym. Forgot my Polar watch, not sure how many calories I burned. Gonna try to not eat my activity points tho.

Hey Lynn, Saturday night. Getting ready to settle down into a movie. Doing ok but not perfect. Should show a loss. I will see on Tuesday. DH wants to do crab legs tomorrow night. They are on sale. I need to look them up. I know I'll have to skip the butter.

Spent the day at a scrapbook convention. It was a great time. I really enjoy getting out for several hours.

Day has gone pretty well.I managed an hour of racquetball which is the first time I played since I got hurt.

Hi Lynn. Good to see your day went well. Mine has been good too. Only, I have had little variety as far as food is concerned.

breakfast 2/3 of my 2pt oatmeal. It just wasn't hitting the spot today. Had to force it down.

Did 25 minutes on treadmill and 30 with my personal trainer.

came home and ate about 3oz of turkey lunch meat.

lunch, ate more turkey lunch meat and a stick of string cheese.

had a non fat mocha from starbucks (3pts).

So, not good balance what so ever. I have to share.......I had a consultation today with a second Dr. for breast augmentation. I am scheduling for December. I have to be at goal by then. I am very energized now. I am excited to get some breasts again. :)

Will check in tomorrow.

Whoooo hoooo!!! I weighed in at my new meeting this afternoon. I lost three pounds!!! Oh my gosh. I can not remember the last time I had a loss like that. My only concern is that I am not quite eating right. As losing three pounds in one week shows. I am in such a hurry between shifts at school. Look what I mean..........

Great loss,as for your diet don't sweat it we are all guilty of it.Plan ahead that is the best way.Chipotle sounds good.I have tried for a couple years to buy the canned peppers and they don't have them I finally ordered them from Amazon.
I am so crippled today.That weight class kicked my butt.Did an hour of pilates this morning and 15 min.of cardio.I haven't done pilates since Feb.That was tough too.

Hello. Late posting tonight. Better late than never. Didn't get to work out today. I had my annual yuck exam today. Always feels great when that is done and you don't have to go back for another year.

lunch
quiznos salad with 1/2 of the flat bread and raspberry chipotle dressing. Not sure on the points. However, to ensure I did not consume the bread, I had the employee throw half away. Now that's bad.

no snack-I even skipped frozen yogurt when I took my kids for it this afternoon.

dinner-DH gone. Kids wanted Wendy's. I got a single burger 6pts I think.
I microwaved a potato at home and poured some of DD chili over it. Not too bad. Better than fries.

I have a bike ride tomorrow. Hopefully the eating will be better. I know I didn't over eat today. I have the hollow feeling I have in the evening when I'm doing well. In other words......I don't feel stuffed. :)

Well I was lazy yesterday.
I worked out but then came home and ate everything in sight.
I am feeling stressed,this is the second month in a row I have not had a period.I spotted{if you can call it that}for an hour but that was it.I took a pregnancy test last month and it was negative.Iam not supposed to get pregnant,but whats going on???????

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!!
Weekends are not great for me either so don't feel bad,as long as we can get here during the week.
There is a law that says on your birthday anything goes,so have at it lol.
I hate weigh ins during tom and the week before.I only get 2 good weeks to weigh in.I lost a pound last week but I am sure it found me again.
On the plus side my working out is going well.2 weeks and not hurting except for sore muscles.The summer vacation from the gym seems to have helped my back.
Will get back after I really decide what to eat today.

You are so lucky Amy to be going so many places lately.My back screwed up any travel for me this year.Now that I can go,I can't because of INS.We put in an application for the Green Card and we can't leave the US until the say they received it.Kind of silly.I am a little stir crazy.

Hi Lynn. I'm still here. That is scary that you couldn't find the thread. That means we have been away from it too long and it got piled in with old ones. Yikes! Well, I am winding down my fall break from school(kids) and work(me). I have had a great time to say the least. Missed two meetings and gained 4 pounds. I will get back to my normal meeting tomorrow. However, today begins my tracking points again.

On a good note: we purchased a horse yesterday. We got it for our daughter who has had an obsession with horses since she was about 3. My sister will board her. We just have to send money for feed every month. Not too bad. DD already rode her in a barrel race yesterday. I'm not ready to cut her free, so my older sister lead her. It is pretty exciting. How are you doing???

Things are good here.I haven't been behaving though.I can't seem to smarten up.I didn't want to visit my family with this weight on and at this point I am not sure I could get rid of it all but if I stuck with it I could get some.I hope.

Wow. It was difficult to find this thread. Must post daily I guess.

Well, I still have not been back to a meeting since before Mexico. It's been a month I think. Tomorrow is the day. Back to my Tuesday afternoon meetings. Got to get this thing going again. My eating has even been bothering my husband. I have not gained much. Just the three pounds I lost a month ago. However, I am feeling very full bodied and fluffy. Lack of exercise is contributing to that.

Went to the gym today. My trainer wants me to burn 500 calories 3 days a week. I should be able to do that. Here's how it's starting out.........
