Post haven't been around for ages

.. I never posted much to begin with (i'm so forgetful!) Anyway, I have now been at weight watchers since February 12th, and so far have lost 12.1kg/26.6lb, so am really proud of myself..

however, i've found the last 2-3 weeks my motivation has started slipping, and I feel like I'm getting back into my 'old ways'. I sat last night and ate a whole packet of rice crackers. It's probably about 8 points for a whole pack of them, so it isn't terrible, but still... I slipped.

I just don't know what to do to get a bit more of a boost? I am walking for my exercise, so maybe I need to change my exercise type, to give things a bit more of a kickstart??? But i'm finding now that my daughter is 7mo, and getting more active, I am a lot more tired at night than usual - and the evening is the only time i can get out on the exercycle.... I have a couple of exercise DVD's, but I can't be bothered doing them.. it's terrible!!!!!

Even as i'm sitting here, I COULD be doing one of those DVD's! Or I could be out walking! I think part of it is that it's winter here now - and it is getting pretty cold..

so anyway, you should see me around more now that I have realised I need some extra support & motivation.......

thanks for reading,
Emma

(i would go do a DVD now, lol if Ellen wasn't going to be on in 15 minutes!)

Welcome back hun and congrats on your progress so far!

Your daughter is gorgeous! She must be chortling now and trying to give you those big gaping kisses... you know the ones... Where she'll grasp your hair, cheeks, ears and pull you towards her, her mouth widening cuz she loves you sooo much she wants to suck in your whole face! God I miss those kisses!!

She is also what, right around 10, 12 kilo's? The perfect bundle of a baby lovin exercise bud!! I remeber when mine were that age and I would lay on my back on the floor and put my baby on shins, then proceed to do leg lifts with them. They thought they were getting a heck of a fun ride ( and they were! ) while I was getting a great leg work out. Or we would play the kissie face game. Same position's for both of us, but I would have their hands and draw my knee's in doing a crunch and when we got close enough... Kisses! Then extend to an arms length away making pouty faces and teasers telling your adorable one... "you get back here"... Drawing her close once again, your face getting happier and happier till she gets close enough to cover her face in lil glad to see ya kisses!!

Oh, I'm telling you, I miss that. Truth be known my 9 year old son does too. He will still play the kissie face game if his 12 and 14 year od sisters arent around.

Enjoy the age! Enjoy the play that will benfit you both in so many many ways!!

THANK YOU for this! I hadn't thought about using Gaby as exercise. She's about 9kg (though feels heavier), so she's probably a good weight to do some exercise with!
