Default Feeling a little blah, a little frustrated...

I am suffering through my first tom since re-starting ww. While I'm staying OP, I'm not following the 8 healthy guidelines very well, those 100 cal packs have been calling out my name a little too much.

My pants are also feeling a bit tight, I'm sure it's due to water retention, but it sure feels discouraging.

Sometimes being a girl sucks.

Oh, I am so with you on that! I found that I just can't worry about weight loss during that time because, for me, it won't matter anyway and I'll just end up being even more depressed.

Don't worry, it's only one week and you'll probably have a good loss the week after!

Is that how it usually goes? I am really bummed out. I'm soooo annoyed at myself. I weighed myself yesterday. Dumb. I *KNOW* it's just from tom, but still made me sad.

I'm thinking about skipping wi on Monday, and working hard for the next week.

It's nice to know it's not just me.

For me, either the week of or the week before TOM I gain between 2 and 3 pounds. However, the next week I lose about twice that. I wouldn't skip your weigh-in; if you go up, you know why. Besides, you might be surprised! Good luck

I have up weeks a lot during TOM myself but I've learned to accept it because the following week is always a big drop so it evens out. I wouldn't recommend that you skip your meeting. Don't dwell on the scale. There is so much more at a meeting than the stoopid scale. Best of luck to you.

Well I did WI. I didn't gain! I'm sitting at the same weight, but I'm hoping next week looks brighter. It is not great, but again, I am thrilled there was no gain.

Thanks for the advice. I have to keep reminding myself that even a stand still is still less than what it was last month!

That's great! It may not be as exciting as losing weight, but at least staying the same means you aren't gaining...pretty soon that becomes exciting!
