Smile I'm new to WW, looking for support buddies!

I've tried about every diet under the sun, and lost and maintained well on Atkins for 3 years. I just can't LC anymore. I've tried over and over the last 6 months or so to get started with it again, and have done nothing but manage to binge eat on everything I can get my hands on. I need to take control, and get myself back on track, before I gain all of the weight back that I lost.. I can't deal with *forbidden* food groups anymore. I'm going to try Weight Watchers starting Monday, and I'm hoping to find some supportive weightloss buddies here! I'm a 33 year old, SAHM to 4 beautiful kiddos, and I love cooking, gardening, camping, and watching my kids play sports.

You allowed to have all your FAVORITE foods just as long as there in moderations but I'm sure that you'll love W.W. too... Always be positive... Keep your head up and always say I Will, I Can and I Am... I will lose weight, I can lose weight and I Am losing weight.!

Take Care Hun

Welcome to 3FC and WW, Sam!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with WW and how it will work into your life as a SAHM. Have you decided if you will be doing Core or Flex? Everyone has their own reasons for whichever plan they choose to follow, but I'll tell you mine to give you a little bit to think about. I've done Flex since day 1 last summer. It works for me because I can still cook and eat all the things my family is used to and wants. I've made minor changes in many of my recipes that no one ever noticed....switching to 2% cheese, putting a teaspoon (or none at all) of margarine on a bowl of veggies instead of a tablespoon or two, etc. Little changes that really add up! The biggie for me even above and beyond these changes has been portion control....I still measure everything.

Good luck to you!

Hi Sam
I started WW 2 wks ago, I'm doing the flex plan, and I love it. I don't think of this as a 'diet' at all. I'm going to start posting here more, so I look forward to getting to know you and everyone else.

Welcome Sam!

I couldn't deal with forbidden foods either when I first started out with ww. I can eat those foods whenever I want but the weird thing is that I no longer want those foods the way I used to.

Good luck with your weight loss journey!

Default New to website, but on ww forever!

Hello all... I'm new to this website so I'm not sure how everything works. But I have been on weight watchers for what feels like FOREVER! I love the diet. It really works, but I warn you, you must follow the plan! I have lost my motivation over the past few years so I'm trying this website as a way to motivate myself. Good luck to all my fellow weight watchers people!

Default weightloss journey

Just wanting to find some support for the journey I am starting. I lost 47 Lbs. in 2002, and WW took the meetings from our town so I stopped too. I have gained all of the weight back and I am soooo miserable. It hurts to bend and tie my shoes!!! I know the plan ,it works I just need the disipline to do it. Thought maybe the support here would help. My goal is to lose at least 70lbs. However long it takes to do it healthy and keep it off. Any help is greatly appreciated.
