Default Just Rejoined WW

I'm committed to doing the program right this time. But, after my first day I'm a little worried. Granted, I didn't eat too much for breakfast and lunch but I went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and I came home and figured and STILL had points left. I am a lot larger than I was last time I was on the program, but I feel like I have sooooo many points and don't feel as restricted as I remember. The less restricted thing may be a good thing, but I just worry I won't see any results on the scale.

Last time I was on WW I lived on zero-point soup...

You should see a steady weight loss with the new points configuration even though it feels like you are eating a lot. Stick with the points and your healthy guidelines and you should be really pleased with WW

Thanks for the reassurance! I just started my day off with an 11 point breakfast. I'll let you know how the scale goes next Saturday.

Hey,

I have been a member of 3fc for a while, and have tried WW on my own, with success, but I fell off. I am thinking of joining WW at work.

From your screen name, I see several things that I like...

compsci - computer science? plus
nerd - plus
girl - double plus!

I lived on like 14 points out of my alloted 32 today. And the thing is, I don't feel any more hungry than usual. Anyway, good luck, and hopefully we can support each other!!!!

I'm so glad you approve of my screen name :-P

My leader stressed the importance of eating all your points. If not your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose. Apparently if you diet too much your body gets greedy about the fat and won't let go. I've been making better choices (following the 8 principles) but trying to work in some higher point items to bring my daily total up.

Good Luck!

My leader stresses the same thing....eat all your points. I never ate my 35 flex points or exercise points because I was already full, but I did always eat my allotted points. Now, as my points have been decreasing, I've kept them at the 26 point level anyway, to help build up a little bit and so that I won't be as restricted when I make it to maintenance.
