crosstrainers, ellipticals?

    hi,

    i was wondering what a crosstrainer is? at the gym i use a machine by lifefitness where you move your legs like you're jogging but they just move around in circles (or ellipses) without impact and you push with your arms on these lever thingies. is this a crosstrainer or an elliptical machine?

    That's a cross-trainer. An elliptical is the same thing minus the arms.
