midwife & Ilene, thanks for the welcome!
I like reading everybody's food for inspiration. Today was a not so great day for me. I was busy, busy, busy so getting proper meals in was a challenge! Even though I was sore as all get-out, I got up and ran a local 10k this AM. I was glad I did it as I know I would not have pushed my cardio so hard for so long this AM if I wasn't racing. Now on to the not-so-good part...food! 1. Bite of a Larabar, 1/4 of an orange & a latte 2. cup of decaf and 1/2 of an apple bran muffin 3. handful peanuts 4. green salad, eggs, 1/2 slice dry wheat toast 5. container greek yogurt Tomorrow is my free day. I don't plan to go hog wild, but I am meeting some friends for breakfast at my favorite breakfast restaurant. I'm getting a veggie omelete, breakfast potatoes and a small blueberry pancake (instead of toast)! That's my one cheat meal of the week! It's sooo good. However, I never eat the whole meal - just too much food! I hope everybody is having a great weekend. |
The pizza last night totally dehydrated me. I know I'm retaining water this am so I did not get on the scale.
kashi, strawberries, skim, protein shake cc/berries salad with protein and a carb turkey and fruit, laughing cow dinner will be a tuna sandwich with avocado, raw veggies on the side no exercise today. |
