My arms need LOTS of help! Please help us!

Hi. In the 20 somethings forum I posted a question about how to get rid of the flabby bat arms I'm suffering with. It was suggested that I come to this forum because weight training is the way to go, and all I know about weight training is that I didn't like having to do it in high school.

I need a lot of help. I'm being shoved into a pink dress in a couple months and don't want to be the bridesmaid w/ the flabby arms.

Thanks!

hi there, congrats on your weight loss. depending on whether you belong to a gym or not will determine to a large extent what kind of options you have. check out the post in the upper portion of board, tittled getting started or something like that.

You need to do some bicep and tricep work (bicep curls, tricep xtensions), etc. But honestly, while it's worth doing, seeing a change in 2 months will not only depend on how much you lift, but how much fat you can get rid of in the arm. The bat wings are due more to fat levels than lacking muscles. I happen to know I have some awesome bicep and tricep muscles - I can feel them. But, they are still covered by fat. So do the best you can with lifting, but you also need a ton of cardio to try to maximize fat burning.
