It's for Monday, the 24th. It will be endoscopic this time. They are 'assuming' there is a stricture from my past ct scans... and hope to dialate that AND shut down a fistula tract that has developed from the stomach pouch, again. As you may remember I had on rupture through the skin in June, and didn't know what was happening. At least this time it's been almost a month since they've noticed it and it hasn't gotten any bigger, but it hasn't gotten any smaller either

This will be surgery #8 for me... and I still have to have my port-a-cath removed (that will be at least 9). My port was acting up this week and the home care nurses decided (with Dr's permission) NOT to access it this week.... so no TPN, just the clear liquids (maybe I'll actually loose some weight this week)
Wish me luck ladies... I'm actually kinda scared. New hospital, new dr and yet another surgery.
Hugs,
Sharmel
*****UPDATED*****
I got a call yesterday at like 430pm to say that my dr is now sick... and they are not sure if my surgery is cancelled or not yet.... Then she said that his associate may or may not take me on as a patient. So now I'm supposed to show up for surgery, and yes under general anesthesia, not the seditive they give you for endoscope procedure, and have some dr I have never met do surgery on me. Now this after being told my numerous dr's that woudn't even see me with all the complications I've had, now someone new is just going to 'step in' and do the job. I think not. If it isn't Dr. Scott doing my surgery, I won't be having it done on Monday. Just thought I'd update ya'll. Thanks for the good vibes, please keep them coming.
