Nutritional values
 
Is there a good site for finding nutritional values for Carbs, Calories and Protein in basic foods such as bananas, ground beef etc?

Next doc appt Wednesday afternoon. Hope I have list more weight.

I like www.fitday.com
you can keep a journal, log your weight and get nutritional values of food items. Balance Log is a good program if you have A PDA. Cost around $40.00

Ditzy's right -- Fitday's the best! I've used it for 3+ years now. :)

Here are two more sites that have tons of restaurant listings, in addition to foods: CalorieKing - http://www.calorieking.com/ and Dietfacts - http://www.dietfacts.com/default.asp. And for the most complete listing (though not real user friendly), there's always the USDA database: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
