well, hi there P... you mean.. no one told you what you were in for??? or are you just trying to figure out if they were actually telling you the truth????
bottom line: it's SURGERY, so you'll be uncomfortable until you heal a bit. but each day should get a bit better.
get up and move as soon as you are told to do so. it's really essential to do that.
the first three months are not usually easy, but it does end.
what did the doc tell you? do you have a support group lined up??
Good luck and hang in there P. Silly as it sounds, I found it helped me to tell myself to "just breathe" before I had my Lapband surgery, especially when I was in the hospital. It calmed me down a lot. You'll be a big loser soon!
