oh my... i've been wondering what's been going on ... glad to hear all is well.
now.. about the yogurt. the rule of thumb that i was told was that anything under 15 grams of carbs was PROBABLY ok. but more than that and we risked dumping. that was the official line.
my experience was that i couldn't eat the yogurt!!!!! and i STILL have trouble with it. it's not just the added fructose.. yogurt [and most milk products] have some of their own sugars.
dumping. not pretty. i think i saw a commercial over the past couple of days that someone has started making a lower carb yogurt.
oh. and the ONE brand that i can tolerate a little of is dannon's light and fit.
your sister [give her many big hugs and lots of encouragement from us!!!!] will have to go with the trial and error approach. the first week was chicken broth and protein shakes for me. and after that it was pureed chickarina soup from progresso. and cottage cheese.
what about everyone else???
as for the fitness evaluation: ANYONE WHO CAN STAY ON THE ELLIPTICAL FOR 30 MINUTES HAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!!
it's to make sure that you're motivated. and doing SOME movement now. don't worry.
hugs to you all, darlin.
