Soooooo.... I am scheduled for my surgery on Wednesday morning. I am so very very nervous. My pretesting went really well (EEG, bonescan, bloodwork) the one nurse commented that I was one of the healthiest overweight people that she had ever me
I have gotten the typical response from friends and family, are you sure that you want to gothrough with this? You don't look like you're 100lbs overweight. Thanks for the compliment
So now I have to face the reality of what is going to happen. I am excited and eager to get through this.
One question I do have is whether I have bought the correct "supplies" or not. My Drs. office gave me a shopping list. I bought SF jello, egg beaters, chewable vitamins, SF popsicles, chicken and beef broth. Can you guys think of anything else that I should get ahead of time as far as food?
I am also interested in knowing about what to bring to the hospital. I have the obvious robe, slippers, toiletries but is there anything else that you can think of? Something that you wish you had brought with you when you went through WLS??
I could use all the prayers and good vibes that you can give
Thanks for your help and support!
Kathy
