Honestly? Most people care
way less than you think. If I like someone, stuff like scars, marks, uneven skin… it just becomes part of them really quickly. It’s not something I sit there analyzing. After a while your brain kind of files it under “this is just what they look like,” the same way you don’t question someone’s freckles or stretch marks.
Also, a lot of people have
something, eczema, acne scars, stretch marks, random discoloration, you name it. It’s way more common than it feels when you’re the one dealing with it.
The only time it really becomes a “thing” is if
you feel super uncomfortable and it affects how you act (like constantly trying to hide it or apologizing for your body). And even then, a decent partner will just want you to feel okay, not judge you.
If someone is turned off by something like eczema marks, that says more about them being immature or unrealistic than anything about your body.
I feel really lucky to have a partner who accepts me as I am and supported me through my weight loss journey!
