I'm so sorry to hear this about someone who's been a part of this community for so long. Although I haven't ever conversed with Jiffy directly, I can see the impact she's made on many here. May she rest in peace.

I'm so saddened to hear this. She's been a wonderful support on this board for many, many years.

God bless her, I was reading some of her posts, she'd posted up until the past week. My thoughts and prayers are with her & her loved ones, what a beautiful person.

She was one of my best friends, I used to Mod this forum with her.
I will miss her like crazy.

So sorry to hear this. I am not a candidate for surgery but I often checked this section because of Jiffypop's calm, thoughtful and knowlegable posts. She will be so missed. It was a blessing that she went so peacefully. She was posting up to very recently.

I thought this was going to be Bargoo. I know she has cancer and hasn't posted since Jan 2.

I am stunned and sad. Jiffy helped me through surgery and made me laugh. I will miss her.

I am so saddened by the news. I sometimes come into the WLS section even though I'm not a candidate, and loved reading her posts. She will be missed.

Shocking. Shocking and so very sad. Yet reading through this thread would bring a smile to her face; I hope she realized in life just how many people she had helped and how many cared about her.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jiffy's friends and family. RIP

Too bad we don't have a "like" button here, because I like all of these kind words about Jiff. I know she would, too.

I hope Bargoo is okay; good thoughts and prayers to her.

R.I.P my mother also suffers from a heart condition so this relates to me on a personal level too. :(

We have lost such a special lady. I hope she knew what a positive impact she had especially for those facing WLS and overall with her kind common sense posting. I've been here forever and as others have noted was always happy to see her posting. I keep trying to learn the lesson that I need to acknowledge good people while they are present in my life.

I remember her from back when I first joined here in 2007. She lived in my same area in NJ if I'm not mistaken.

Oh no, I just saw this :( So sorry to hear about JiffyPop! She was such a helpful, good-humored person, helping many others here, including myself. I will miss her!

RIP, even though I wasn't part of the community when she was here, It's always disheartening to hear that someone has passed away.

I haven't been on 3FC for a long long time! I came here today as I recently decided I needed to take up this jouney once again.

Though in the end I decided that WLS was not the right choice for me Jiffy was a tremendous help along the long journey that lead to that decision. I am truly saddened to read this news!

I too, just saw this as a comment brought me back to my post. I am really sad, but glad that I did get a chance to interact with her when I was last here. She had a huge impact on so many of us over the years. RIP Miss Jiffy.

I have been away from 3FC for quite a while, so I just saw this sad news. Jiffy was such an inspiration over the years. Always giving kind and helpful advice. I hope she is at peace. She will certainly be missed.
