Hello everyone. My name is Candi. I've decided after many years to get gastric bypass. I have my first info session on Monday. At the center we have here they get people approved pretty fast but I won't be having anything done until March 2015, due to switching jobs, I do not have any vacation time until then. But I'm super excited reading all your stories and experiences is really encouraging.
Thanks. I have a ways to go. I get set up with my primary physician in September. ( I just got insurance ) Surprisingly though my insurance doesn't require much for approval.
that's great news. I'm wondering if you'd qualify for short-term disability for your recovery time. Something to ask about, at least. and congrats on the new job!
