I forgot what I came in here to talk about. Alvin is worried that his blood sugar is running high again. I asked if it could possibly be that he was living on carb. ( Jiff, his second favorite food after mashed potatoes is ice cream!) He did like my pointing out the obivous, but that's life.

Congrats to all that have surgery dates! :cb: :cp: Best of luck and my prayers go out to all of you.

I must admit, I am getting antsy to get a date myself; but I haven't even had my consultation yet! I have to go back to my PCP on July 2, then August 25 with the WLS doctor. It seems to be taking forever, but I am sure the days will be here before I know it :) ! Who knows how much longer I have to wait after the consultation appointment anyway? (It may be another six months for all I know). Anyway, from what I have read and researched, the wait will be worth it ;)
