Default hot weather eating!

so, here we all are - heading into the really hot weather, and what's the point of cooking? What are your go-to basics to keep YOU going [and i do mean YOU - not necessarily the rest of your family].

For me - it's deli and produce. thinly sliced roast beef, buffalo chicken, and store-sliced turkey. all of them go great on top of a salad. and i've been cutting up cukes, tomatoes, a little onion, and peppers for wonderful greek salads.

cooking? if i want something hot, i'll either quickly grill a piece of boneless chicken thigh or go out and get an order of chicken or meat from a take-out place to last me a few days.

I'm guessing I'll do similar things (it's not hot here yet). Maybe some tuna salad. I need to make up some taco meat/beans and freeze them in 1/2c portions. Taco salads are my favorite and then I won't have to heat up the kitchen cooking the meat.
