Yesterday we went to a BBQ. I had already decided I would have some sort of dessert but for the rest of the meal I would stay OP.
We sat down at a table with no food at it having avoided all forms of chips and crackers that crossed our path.
As Luck would have it, as soon as we sat down they plunked a big Bowl of chips crackers and hummus down.
and a small (individual salad) bowl of red and yellow pepper strips.
Nary a chip or cracker crossed my lips!!!! I did demolish the peppers but Most of them were sans hummus.
That little triumph helped me make wise choices through the meal.
