Yesterday we went to a BBQ. I had already decided I would have some sort of dessert but for the rest of the meal I would stay OP.
We sat down at a table with no food at it having avoided all forms of chips and crackers that crossed our path.
As Luck would have it, as soon as we sat down they plunked a big Bowl of chips crackers and hummus down.
and a small (individual salad) bowl of red and yellow pepper strips.
Nary a chip or cracker crossed my lips!!!! I did demolish the peppers but Most of them were sans hummus.

That little triumph helped me make wise choices through the meal.

Thanks Girls I'm trying to celebrate the little victories. It flexes my not givingi in muscle when faced with gastronomic adversity. both from outside and more importantly within.

I've never liked pepper strips, but you add a little oil free hummus and I'll bet I could even get down a "horse apple"!! LOL!! Put a little happy face on your "I've got on going on chart!" Keep up the good work.

Good on ya! peppers are not my fav but I would rather have them and feel fabulous about it all!
