Default Are you getting enough water?

I get so busy during the day, well because I CAN now!!!! LOL!!! But, I forget to drink and seem to have to tank up more toward evening, which means nightly trips to the powder room. Now with hot weather here don't be stupid like I am. I've been a little dizzy in the afternoons. I go to bend over to pick up something and will get dizzy and fainty. It is simple, I am not getting enough water. Mouth is dry and I'm not peeing enough. So, drink your water. Keeps your from getting hungry and keeps the chances of kidney stones down and from falling over on your head. If you look in the mirror you will see darker circle under your eyes. DRINK YOUR WATER!!!

I drink about 140 oz of water a day (litterally 1/2 my body weight in ounces) and I have never felt so good in my life. I may have to pee every two hours but its worth it for the weight loss and the soft skin. Not to mention that I don't drink any sodas anymore. Not even diet

Ok, before surgery I drank 2.5-3 gallons of water a day along with at least a liter of diet soda and 16 oz or so of coffee...I take meds that dry my mouth and it became a habit to drink that much AND I was most of the time dehydrated! My GP suggested that water is the most efficient diarrheic and I should stop drinking soda and coffee and switch to iced tea...ice cold liquid is absorbed easier by the body and the flavor of tea was more thirst quenching. Flavored teas are fun to play with!

Well, it's worked! I use the bathroom less and feel less thirsty and my hydration level is normal now. The only thing is I am still cold and ice tea is not helping! I really love the summer weather we are having lately!

Good for you guys! Ange, I have to order all of my drinks even water with no ice because it hurts my fingers to hold the glass and I freeze if there is ice. Do you know how many waitress give me a funny look when I say hold the ice?! Maybe I shouldn't order it: Ice water with lemon and hold the ice!!! LOL!!! I'm getting plenty of water in today.

My mom is the same way with ice. She hates it lol. I love lemon in my water. My gym keeps a two big batches of lemon water in the club. It is soooo refreshing during a mini break and after my workout

Although I havent had my surgery yet, I have already started shopping in preparation for it. I found today at Wal-Mart the Special K20 packets 10 pack. You mix it with water and it kind of kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Not only do you get the 16 - 20 oz of water that you mix, but you also 5 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. A win win situation......

Hope that helps...

I'm having 3 cups of wild berry zinger iced tea with lemon and probably 1 packet or less of splenda. I'm either going to get a water or chug another 3 cups of liquid when i get home.
or I'll Potty like itsd 1999
