Default I Was Approved!!!!!! Yyyyyyeeeesssss!!!!

Oh my word!!!!! I am still floating on a cloud! My Dr's office called me this morning and said that they heard back from the insurance company and I have been APPROVED

I am NUMB!!! I almost screamed in the poor girls ear....then I asked her if she was sure she was calling the right person....she laughed and assured me that she did have the correct person Then I hit my knees and prayed and thanked the Lord!

They gave me an appointment for an EGD and then I will get my surgery date. The girls I spoke with told me that I will probably get my surgery in late February to early March

I am so excited and as I promised I came here to tell you guys so you can share with me in my great news!!

Thank you all so much!!

I still have butterflies! I woke up several times last night and my surgery was the first thing that popped into my mind.

Next week I have an appt. to have some of the tests that are needed. I am mentally trying to make a list of things that I know I'll want/need for my hospital stay.

thanks again for all of the "congrats" and encouragement!!

Blessings to you,

Chrissy

Congratulations! I am waiting to hear from my insurance. I hope to have my surgery by the end of March. That will be during my spring break and I will not have to take off as much from work. My doctor has already preformed the pre-surgery tests. I have taken my nutrition class and am currently trying to meet my support group attendance requirement. As soon as that is finished I should be ready for surgery. They have already submitted the claim for approval but the doctor requires some of these other items before he will operate. I should be finished with his items by the time I hear from the insurance company. I called them this past July and asked about having the surgery and what they would require for approval. So according to Jennifer at my insurance company, I should be good to go. I'm just waiting for the official word. Good luck with your surgery and keep us posted!

I live in Pa. I'm going to have my surgery at the Osteopathic Hospital. They have a seperate wing on the hospital that they have dedicated to this type of surgery.
