  • The muscle milk is normally something like $46 for a big container of it..but it was on sale for $26, I believe.

I'm not sure about the calories...but the thing is...if I have a protein shake for breakfast I tend to eat less throughout the day, so even if it's high in calories, it really doesn't make much difference.

I want to say that 2 scoops is something like 325 calories, but I used a scoop and a half, plus a scoop of peanut butter.
  • just a reminder - protein supplements are a medical necessity for us, so chances are we can toss this into the 'medical deductions' part of our income tax.
  • Seriously? do you need receipts?
  • ooh.....good idea!!

I think whether or not you need your receipts would depend on who your accountant is LOL ....mine probably wouldn't ask for them, unless I was audited or something.
  • Check out The Ultimate Meal...powder mix. I buy it at Whole Foods. 170 Calories. 16 grams protein. It has Potassium, calcium, Vit. B-12, Iron, Omega 3 & 6.

I mix with H2O and ad 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup mixed berries.
  • you need the receipts, and a note from your doctor. and that's it! honest!
