Stephanie...looks like you are on the right track!
I find that when I eat too many carbs I am very sluggish and have low energy. For example, I love pretzels...they are low fat and not too bad on calories, but when I eat just pretzels for lunch I am tired before getting back to working! If I eat a few pretzels and some peanut butter, I have lots of energy when I go back to work.
Basically I am on a low carb, super low sugar diet. The most sugar I eat at one time is 8 grams. I feel so much better staying low carb and HIGH protein! Hopefully this works for you, too! Sounds like so far it is working great...keep it up!
