Default TLC's "Big Medicine"

I was wondering if anyone happened to see TLC's Big Medicine and what you thought about it?

YES! I watched it lastnight! I thought it was very inspiring! They had a 675 bed-bound man on there that the drs were going to do surgery on, I beleive his surgery will be the next episode, but I really felt for him........

There were two women on there too, one was only 18 and had surgery a year ago and was 310, now is only 140! She came back for the excess skin removal, after that she looked awesome! It was so great too because she said now she can enjoy the things she couldn't do in HS.

The other lady was 400 lbs, she had WLS, in just 8 months (I think) she is down too 267. Could have been a year later, but I don't think it was that long. She said she felt great and was getting hit on left and right.

I like the show it is very inspiring.

I'm sure they will have reruns. Also TLC cycles their shows, so if it was on say at 8 pm., it will also be on later, like at 11 or 12 or something as well.

I enjoyed it too. I liked how they showed people before the procedure, sort of during and the younger girl after. I do hope in future episodes they deal with what folks actually 'do' post-op. The evolution of their diets etc ...

I thought it was good. I hope they show some lap-band patients too.

I finally got a chance to watch it last nite Too me the girl that had the skin removal was not a big change. I have seen other shows where the change was very noticeable.

I was planning on watching
Big Medicine Monday night and got to watching something else and forgot all about it. I was wondering if it showed how the young man was doing that had the surgery last Monday a week ago. Does anyone have an update?

OK, you all. I'm going to answer my own question. I caught it on a rerun last night and it showed Brian at home in Houston. He was getting terribly depressed but the two doctors called in a trainer and finally got him to try to walk, he couldn't do it yet, but he's trying and has lost 400 plus pounds so far. Wonderful story. I'm going to follow this one.
