Default Can you FEEL it? Body aches...

When I'm losing weight / dieting, it's like I can FEEL when my body is shrinking / eating away the fat. My body gets all achy... I hate that feeling. I know it should make me feel good, but it makes me feel like I want to eat so it stops!!!

I get sore from exercise , but this is different. I also get tired easier.

Anyone else go thru this? Or am I just

This is a bit fanciful but it's how I think about that ... I think my body finds it easier to use calories from foods. It has to work harder to use fat that I already have. It can get a bit sluggish and petulant because it doesn't want to work harder.
But it adapts and does indeed use up my fat. And I help by increasing my activities.
Hey, I warned you that it was a fanciful notion

Susan, that's a really nice way to think about it! I'm going to think that too right now actually since I'm feeling kinda achy myself.

I find that when I lose weight it doesn't come off all the parts of my body exactly evenly, and consequently my center of gravity changes slightly. I always get a mild backache until the muscles adjust to the new posture.

I've only noticed it in my back, but I suppose the same sort of thing would happen with other parts of the body too.

I have fibromyalgia and any change in diet and exercise affects how I feel. I am alot more fatigued when I diet, so I just sleep more. Seems to help.
