I feel ya on that stress...I was a military wife for years.

I know one of the things I wanted to do was wallow in the food. There are ways of giving in and not giving up.

And you don't have to knock yourself out working out 24/7 either.
Food choices make a big difference. Did you know that sugar can give just as much of a rush as caffine? It may have some bearing on your nerves especially at night. Your blood sugar will spike on sugar and carbs and the drop you flat so you really won't want to do much of anything. Your mood may even be much lower, not a good thing to deal with when DH is leaving.
It looks like you had a smoothie this morning, frankly, especially with the blueberries, the healthiest thing you had all day. Keep that, find other things to add during the day. I also noticed that you use Flax oil, another GREAT thing. Try making your own dressings out of that. I love mine with some garlic, onion and cayenne powder with lemon juice. You would never know it's good for you.
It is no joke that you can actually eat more, and more frequently without adding any more calories. As was mentioned before, we all eat differently, but changing the things I ate and how often was a Godsend for me and my nerves, i'm never hungry!
I just found a great new forum on here the other day under "Diet Central". It's called the "Whole Foods Lifestyle". Obviously, not for everyone, but just check it out, you might find some great ideas to incorporate one at a time. A lot of people on here have a "Fitday" link on their profile, check those out too, especially the maintainers. Lots of ideas.
BTW, bless you, your husband and your family for your contributions!
