I would like to reach my goal weight of 145 lbs. by my 60th birthday in August 2009.
I think this is very do-able as I have lost 36 lbs. over the past 2-1/2 years and haven't gained any back in that time (aside from one or two pound fluctuations). I feel much more relaxed about my weight loss now that I'm not trying to reach short-term goals.
I love making goals and timetables. My problem is that then I get stressed to complete them and even more stressed when they fly past me. I've recently decided to keep myself to healthy goals that don't involve weight at all. Like right now my short term goal is to loose two inches around my waist and hips by the end of September
