Walk walk walk...

  • This is really exciting for me. I work in the same office as my mom, and since my mom has worked here forever, I've known most of the people since I was a little girl. So me, my mom, and one of our coworkers signed up to do the 3 day. I know it's going to be difficult and shame on us because we hadn't started walking yet for practice. Well, this morning was our first day of practice. Me and my mom got up, drove to the coworkers house, and we all started walking. It's 1.5 miles to work. I doubt that for at least a little bit we'll be walking back.. to her house, but, I'm still so proud! It's going to be so easy to keep on doing this, because I'm doing it with my mom and a coworker. We walk up this HUGE hill too. I'm so happy and excited. We're doing it 3 times a week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hooray!

    Do you guys think that 3 times a week for 1.5 miles should be good to start? It takes us about 35 minutes.

    It is always easier when you have someone to walk with. You can chit chat while walking and before you know you're there.

  • Great job. 1.5 miles is a long ways to start with. I do this amount usually 6 times a week, but when I started, I could barely walk 15 min's. So, the three of you are doing great. Keep up the good work.
