Default New direction diaster

I bought a mini exercise bike that you can do in the comfort of your arm chair. Went fine for the first five minutes, then it broke. The pedals snapped off it completely.

How disheartening is that?

Im looking for something new, as I have been running for the last few months and feel that ,my body has adapted to this a bit too well. Any suggestions as to what I can do now? Im not the kind of person to follow routines through DVDs but I am determined so I will try anything once.

I have a goal, to do this I would need to loose a stone in the month. Im dedicated, but I just aint sure if this is actually achievable.

Do you have cable or satellite TV? I just set my TiVo to record a bunch of stuff on FitTV to see if I like any of the workouts they have, and it’s free! Don’t know why I never thought of this before. I’ve got my stability ball on its way, just bought it on eBay yesterday. I’m so excited to not have to use the ones at they gym that are covered in everyone else’s sweat!

I love spinning classes- they can get my heart racing in a way that no other exercise can (plus you don't need to be co-ordinated!) Not being so far off your weight I would wonder whether your goal is realistic- I lose 2 pounds a month on average but have gone down 10% body fat in the last year and I know there's nothing healthy I could do to make me lose a stone.

Good luck!
