Hi there! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm down another pound this week, which makes me 161 lbs. right now. I was scared to weigh in this morning because I didn't eat all that great over the weekend...so, I was really happy to see a loss! How's everyone doing this week?

Yay! a new thread! I posted my W.I. on the other thread but ill do it here to. I lost 1 lb this week. So its 31 lbs total. Its going alot slower now, but its still almost consistant when I work out and eat right.
lovemygordie- good job on the 1 pound this week. I know how it is when you eat bad and have to weigh in, its not a fun thought lol. Have a great day! |
And OMG!! I didnt know it was ONLY 10 weeks till 4th of July!! I gotta get cracking!!! Im going to the beach for the week and I want to be looking GOOD!!!!!! Wow!!!

i too have got to start working harder on my weight loss. i don't think i've been eating as good as i could and not excersizing as hard and often as i should.
but i am at 168. that is an awesome feeling. and if i lost only one pound a week, at least i would be down to 158 by the 4th. that will be an awesome feeling too. so what am i down a total of for this challenge....5 pounds. and only 10 to go...so if all goes well, i should meet my goal. yay!! :) |
well i am on my tom so i did not weigh in but I will afterwards and post. Everyone is doing such a great job. Keep up the great work

you guys are doing great!! wish i was right up there with you. unfortunately my eating hasn't been too great and I am just easing back into working out. I will definitely be with you guys by the end of the week. I promise!!!!

Mini Rant: CHARTER SUCKS ROTTEN EGGS! GRRR!!!! :mad: Stupid technician isn't going to be out till Tuesday so I'll have to use my friend's AOL till then. Lost .25 this week which is a miracle considering all the crap I ate. |
I have yet another scale.. so I don't get to weigh in this week.. which might be good, it's hard adjusting to being here and working SO darn much! I will get this together... we ALL will get there!!! Positive thinking!
My feet are dying from all this work, I haven't been able to workout for more than 30 minutes, and I've been eating later than I should. Hmm.. any recommitment ideas for those of us struggling? -Aimee PS - 10 weeks only? Summer is coming up pretty quick here!! |
swimgirl...you are right about that. summer is definately coming up. and although i am thrilled to be in a 2 peice bathing suit this year (even if it is just in my own backyard) i am not in the shape i want to be in and am afraid i won't be in it by july. :( i want to look flatter in my swim suit than i do now. but i guess some good news is i measured this morning just out of curiousity and saw that i have lost at least an inch all the way down my waist area...in other words i measure my waist in 3 different spots. lost another inch in my hips too but my thighs are still the same. :(

I'm down .5 of a pound this week, and thats since Saturday morning. I am starting to get back into working out.. but food is a challenge.

babsy- i think 20 lbs is doable. it's a tiny bit more than 2 lbs a week. and 2lbs a week is a healthy rate which to lose weight. good luck.
swimgirl-oh yes, it ain't easy to lose weight. i keep thinking I'll find a miracle to help me lose this weight and fast. i know it ain't gonna happen like that. but imagine how good we'll feel once we hit our target weight and know we worked so hard to get there. keep your chin up!! Lady Jackyl-great job on your loss so far! I'm not gonna be so good this weekend. My family is flying in from LA, so we'll be eating out and stuff. But at least I hope to get a lot of walking done. So Monday, I have to jump back in and work even harder for all the slacking off I've been doing. |
okay, so another week down....another pound down. this morning i stepped on the scale and saw 167!!! yay!!!! i was so happy. i also measured my waist this morning and since starting this journey...i have dropped four inches in my waist. i know that's not alot compared to some people....but i thought i was never going to drop inches in my waist. most of it has been in my hips. so i was thrilled to see 4 inches....GONE!!!! :)

4 inches in your wasit and 29 pounds - that is a lot! WOW! that is HUGE CONGRATS!
I have decided that Saturday's are going to be my offical weigh in day. So I will let you all know tomorrow but I think I will be down about a pound :) yah! |

Before I go to my husbands family reunion (if I go) I'd really like to lose 20 lbs. The reunion is after July 4th, it's the last week of July. Is 20 pounds realistic? I've asked before, but don't think I got a reply. It's approximately 2 lbs a week I think. Barb |

babsy - I'd say work towards 20 pounds, it's better to aim high and fall a little short than to aim low and suceed.. just don't get discouraged, and keep working at it.. you'll get there!
randee - omg you are so positive!! I love it!! So I snuck a peak at the scale this morning, I'm down 1 pound.. I'm going to hold off recording that until Thursday/Friday which is when I weigh in. I'm contemplating going for a nice long walk.. the boyfriend says he can't go, and we'd planned on doing this 6km walk which I cannot do myself because it's not safe.. poop. It has been awhile since I have posted. Ya'll are doing sooooooooo good :hug: Keep up the great work. Today I weighed in at 157. I have lost only two pounds since the beging of this month. It's all gravy, Cause I know it a slow progress. But i made a mini goal for last month to do 100 sit-ups a day for the month and I did all 3,000 of them :carrot: This month is giong to be 50 push-ups & squats a day. So far I have done both. hey jelly...what a great idea. i have to do that again. i have not been setting any goals excersize wise...just going to the gym 3 days a week...but i should definatly add something to do at home. i am going to do the same....100 sit ups a night and 50 lunges a night.
hey to all the other lovely ladies here....congrats on being in on this challenge. i love these challenges. they really motivate me. and if you fell off the wagon this weekend....don't stress. there's still room to hop back on. it was only 2 days....and there are 5 to the week. we can do this!!!! my next weigh in day will be on friday...so here's to another pound gone by friday!!! :) |

I'm up one pound. I'm gettting farther and farther away from my goal. I really don't feel so good. Physically and emotionally. I hope tomorrow will be a better day. |
Rosario - whats going on over there? If you don't want to say.. thats cool.. those emotional things make it hard to lose weight. Courtnie-Wahoo! Good job losing the lb!! I know you want more, but a pound is a pound!! Keep it up! Swimgirl- Ya, keep working like that and those pounds will fall right off of you! Ive been walking like crazy! Its been so beautiful here, I cant believe it! I walk to stores, shop and walk home. Im getting in a good 3 miles a day. Lucky for me that I live in the city and can walk almost anywhere. I weighed in today and im down another lb. I thought it would be more, because of all the walking, but my eating hasent been the greatest. Its SO hard to eat healthy when we are SO busy!! I got a new WW cookbook in the mail a few days ago and went shopping yesterday and im making 3 things in there. I LOVE this new one, I think its the best one yet. I have all of them, but rarely make anything. I do love the taco soup though. yum. I bought a bunch of strawberries yesterday. We all love strawberries! Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!! |

I finally measured myself today..and as of jan 3 , ive lost 28 inches!! Right arm -1 left arm -1 right thigh -1 left thigh -2 right calf -0 left calf -0 stomach -9 hips - 4 bust - 4 waist -6 im so excited. my weight loss has slowed, and this is just the motivation I needed!! |
Randee - WOW!! 28 inches!!! holy COW!!! You are doing SO great, keep at 'er, you'll be there in no time flat! All of your walkign would definitely make a dent in those inches as well.. and think, you lost a pound and your eating wasn't even perfect? You could be unstoppable if you combined the both of them, and even ify ou don't.. you are losing at a good pace :)
I am determined to eat better today, yesterday was such a bust, it was non-stop from 9:30am until 10:15pm.. I only had 1 healthy meal out of 3. I ate WAY less at the two bad meals.. so thats a good thing :) I'm back at it today!! -Aimee |

Rosario--I hope everything is ok over there! Congrats to all those who have lost or maintained this week...I managed to lose another pound this week (bringing me to 5 lbs. total since the beginning of the challenge) even though I didn't exercise much last week. Hang in there, everyone...we can do this! |
My weight has stayed the same this week, but I was expecting this. Staying on plan with my eating but unable to exercise since Abd. surgery last Wednesday. My main goal is to be able to maintain my weight loss until I am able to get back to walking. Never thought I'd miss exercise, but I do. Good luck to everyone.

LumiFan~ I'm glad you are going to set some mini goals for you. It's so simple and easy.It also keep you busy. Well, today was busy. My duaghter's 4th b-day is tomorrow and we are having it at Chuk E. Cheese's... :devil: I'll be good,Promise ;) So far today I have had 2 liters of water. I am trying my darnest to drink more water. I am doing way better today. I was bummed out because my family was over for the weekend. But they went back home on Monday and I was just so sad. But I am feeling better since I know I will be visiting for a week in the summer. Now I have some new motivation...to surprise them with a new me. So now I'm back in the game!!
Swimgirl-thanks for your offer. I'm sure I'll take you up on it one day! Randee-28 inches??!! That's freakin awesome. good job girl. you are so lucky you get to walk places. in georgia, everything is too damn far away and i don't see much sidewalks. continue your walking and you are gonna do awesome next week. lovemygordie-great job on your loss. keep at it!! lillybelle-you should just be concentrating on getting better. when you are all better you can do all the excercise you want to make up for the lost time. but for now just rest so you can recuperate. jelly-how fun!! chuck e cheese.
