Default Saturday's Let's Make a Plan and Stick to it Thread

Oh the weekend! A mixed blessing. If you have to work, do you have your lunch packed? Do you know what you're having for breakfast? How about exercise time? How's it going to fit in on Saturday? Family plans? The dreaded potluck?

Post here and we'll encourage each other through it.

My weekends are always screwed up because my boyfriend doesnt get home till after 1. So I stay up to spend time with him since I don't have to work the next morning. I have been eating small meals all night so I dont eat something bad when he gets home and makes himself something to eat!

I am ready to plan tomorrow - I will sleep in and get a late start to my day so thought I better do this now!

B- few green grapes (almost gone!); cream of wheat with a bit of skim milk and maybe some jam or something
S- fruit source bar and/or maybe some unsweetned apple sauce
L- toasted begal with some tuna and onion, little bit of fat free cheese melted on top
S- veggies - cut up baby carrots and celery heated in the microwave with a bit of water and hot sauce
D- piece of fish, 1 cup of pasta with salsa mixed in
S- see how my day ends up, maybe some yogurt and ceral mixed in... or maybe I can go shopping running low on some of my favourtie things!

Exercise- walking for 45-60min; maybe some pilates again or play with my weight or try some aeroics/dancing around like a fool - not sure. Had a good workout tonight but might a bit sore tomorrow!
Water- 2+ liters (so much harder to drink it on the weekends!)

I get to weigh tomorrow! Hope my eating late and hard workouts doesn't screw it up to much!

I'm pretty much on my own today so I can eat whatever, whenever I want.
It's drizzly so I don't know about biking. Maybe the rowing machine and the Hockey playoffs
I didn't do back and biceps yesterday, so maybe I should today.

0830- oatmeal and egg whites
1100- a half avocado, tomatoes and cottage cheese.
1130-biked 6 km
I have left over chicken and a piece of salmon.
Baby carrots, salad ...
I really could stand a run to the grocers for new veggies.

My goal today is more water, more fiber, more fruits, veggies and whole foods-

B: Slim fast (okay, okay- but I LOVE it, it has 16 grams of protein and it keeps me fueled.) and yogurt

L: ham sandwhich, veggies

S: watermelon!!!!! *YUM*

D: chicken breasts, veggies, salad and maybe a sweet potatoe

Happy Weekend Ladies!

Even though I work long days for some reason on the weekdays I get in more excersise. I guess its just my lazy nature when the weekend comes. My goal this weekend is to get in 3 hours of good clean heart pumping excersise.

Meals
Sat-
B-1/2 cup steal cut oats with splenda and blended frozen strawberries with un sweetened vanilla soy milk.
L-spinach salad with salmon,
Snack- carrots with hummus
Dinner- Chicken stir "fry"

Sunday-

Brunch- I'm with my girlfriends so hopefully I won't indulge, maybe a spinich eggwhite omlet

Snack- strawberries and cool whip

Dinner- Up in the air

Question to Judes26--- Is there a slim-fast without a lot of sugar? I like how they taste too but last time I had one (years ago) it had a good chunk of sugar in it.

Sharp left turn ... got called to work at 3.
Into my kitbag went the salad, salmon, yogurt x2, cottage cheese x2, baby carrots, diet coke
I'll have my coffee (and let my hair half dry) with you folks here and then I'll be off. Hopefully, I can leave at 7 like the other night. I can still do some weights then.

I still have to study for my next exam and I need to finish writing up my weekly routine. Hubby wants me to have it done by the time he gets home. Ive got plenty of time but I want to start using it as soon as possible.

so far today:

Kashi with 2% milk; 1/2 banana for breakfast (eaten after my run)
1 boiled egg
turkey/swiss sammich on whole grain; couple of tostitos w/ salsa
for dinner i will have: wheat pasta with a bit of sauce and parmesean
dessert: light yogurt

oh and i even managed an hour of sunshine out by the pool!!!!

Today, I stayed at home and didn´t do much other than play around with my daughter a little.

Breakfast was oatmeal with a little apple sauce mixed into it.

Snack--banana

Lunch--tuna salad (made with cucumber, lettuce, corn, and light salad dressing)

Snack--chicken sandwich (two pieces of deli meat on half a slice of flat bread)

Dinner--ground beef and okra cooked in tomato based "broth" over 1/2 C rice (bamia)

It sounds like a lot, but it wasn´t!

I didn´t do any cardio today. Just stretched and did some floor exercises while my daughter crawled all over me...

So I weiged today - no loss; but no gain either - so I guess that is okay. But still a bit disipointing.
