  • love kashi golean crunch...i eat it every morning mixed with dannon light and fit vanilla yogurt
  • I've been trying low fat fruit yogurt with low fat granola on top. Pretty yummy! I love eggs and turkey bacon (Louis Rich brand is best) and whole grain bread. The turkey bacon is so good, that my children actually prefer it to regular bacon. My husband likes it too (he would eat regular bacon easily enough though)! I also like the breakfast smoothies with low fat yogurt and fruit.
  • Okay you guys, I took all of your advice and tried some new breakfast ideas. This morning I had less than a cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch (I really liked it) with 2% milk, a piece of 7 grain toast, and I made a berry smoothie. I only drank a small child's cup full. Never made a smoothie before, open to any suggestions. I made mine with a little 2% milk, Dannon Light Vanilla, some mixed frozen berries, and 2 ice cubes (to give it that frozen texture). It was really good though. I was going to just drank that and have a piece of toast, but my kids had a fit when they saw it and had to have some too. Which is great because I'm trying to teach them to eat better also, and at ages 4, 8, and 11 this is a good time to start.
