Hi CC! First thing I'd suggest is... if the scale gets you down that much, you might want to consider monitoring your progress by something besides pounds lost. Take measurements of your body every couple of weeks or I've even heard of one person who has a pair of pants or a skirt that doesn't quite fit. Instead of weighing she just tries that article on every week to see if it's getting closer.

Some people just can't take the pressure of the scale, and I can definitely understand that, used to be that way myself. As so many wonderful people have said on these boards, find what works for you! Good luck and come see us anytime!

Stay off the scale! It can be defeating! Go by how your clothes fit. My scale doesn't work anyway. I go by whether I can get into a certain pair of pants, and how tight they are from day to day. I would also suggest that you make a contest with your hubby. Set mini goals with him. Seems to me that you couldn't have a better buddy to do this with.
