Default Somersizing

I am restarting Somersizing. I was a Somersizer a few years ago and did well. After a job change and depression, I put a lot of weight back on. I have restarted a couples of times in the past year. I was doing well since Jan 1st but took a couple of weeks off due to a death in the family. I am officially back on as of last Monday.

As with everything, once I'm in the swing of things, I don't have any problems but once I quit for a few days....then it becomes a few weeks....months......etc. I really enjoy this way of eating. I feel much better (physically) while I am eating this way, and I believe it is something I can do for a lifetime. I have also started exercising this past week which is something I haven't done in a long time. I lost 6 1/2 pounds this week. Of course, I had put on more than that in the past 3 weeks, and I seem to lose weight I just put on quicker than the weight I've had on for a while. Have you tried Somersizing yet? If it's something you're interested in, I highly recommend you read her books.

I find her second book "Get Skinny on Fabulous Food" the one that explained the program the best. It is in paperback so you can get it at a reasonable price or check it out from the library. She has learned a lot during her journey and some of the later books allow more than the earlier books did. I am trying to stay closer to the earlier books until I start losing on a regular basis. I feel like I eat healthier when Somersizing than when I'm not. I eat more real food instead of "processed" food. I don't have to worry about portion control and once you learn the "rules" they are fairly easy to follow. They have become second nature to me.
