Happy New Year Everyone!
What a great start we have to the New Year with 66 people currently signed on for this challenge! It is awesome to have such a great group of motivated, successful people to chat with and to spur us on to better health in this wonderful New Year! Each day when I log on and find that more people have joined us it just gives me a boost to keep going and stick to my plan. I will excercise at least 3 days a week this month and I will stay within my points enjoying all of my favorite foods. I have increased my water by drinking herbal teas in the evening and I can't wait to weigh in this week and see what numbers I will be starting the year with. chaarli: I look for Skinny Cow ice cream bars when I feel like a sweet treat they are so good. You have your cravings all accounted for and plans in place. Good Job! Arizona Girl: I have decided I am not on a diet I am making a healthy lifestyle change. I know I will never be this weight again and I am loving eating right and feeling good. My resolution is to improve my health for 2006! Got my weights in yesterday... and my 5.5 km run this morning.... I am soooo proud!
I beat my best time by 2 1/2 minutes!! i must get it down to running 2.4 km in 15 min! Today i did an average of 2.1 in 15min! (twice over!) so i am pretty close to being fit enough!!!!!!!! I do weights one day, a run the next, and day 3 is a rest day! then i start over! I am amazed at how much better about myself i feel! if only i can guarantee to keep up the excercise, i might never gain the weight back! And i tell myself if i mess up food wise one day, to make sure i eat well for 3 days after, and that cancels it out! (to stop myself beating myself up!) Good to see so much motivation around! lets all keep it up!!! |
My friends mother gave me this recipe to help with chocolate cravings...her friend lost alot of weight eating it when she had cravings....it taste really good and all I eat is one small spoonful and I'm happy
1/2 cup pineapple in own jucies(blend in blender) 1 package of alba choc mix(in diet section of grocery store) 1/2 tsp vanilla just mix together and place in freezer to chill leave in freezer to keep it for melting.. also can sub 1/2 banana mashed for pineapple and add water to desired consistency spread. |

Help I need more thoughts on how to get my weight loss on the losing end again....I weighed today and still have not lost a thing.its been two weeks..but I have not gained any eather :carrot: I need some things to start loseing again so tell me what to try.
I was very good this weekend and did not over eat. I had bake fish and griled chicken all weekend...I did not walk this weekend but I did stay on the move..(shopping) I need some help on what to do next??? This is a call for help Leigh |
My weekend has gone pretty well. I did a leg workout on Sat and some elliptical. My knee is mostly recovered from a nasty sprain so it looks like I will get back into running this coming week. My eating is improving. Mom took the fam to Outback Steakhouse yesterday and I avoided the bread and the bloomin' onion and ordered a yummy fish dish with steamed veggies -- it was really good and I had the added bonus of being proud of myself for making good choices! I need to up my water intake some more to try and get rid of this water retention from bad eating last week and TOM. Good luck to everyone for this week!
