A shade under 5'4" -- close enough that I just call myself 5'4" and no one except the doctor's ruler knows the difference. ;)

I'll tell ya something else about my height ... I was 5'9" into my 20s, and then probably didn't have my height measured for years. When I started my program 4 years ago (at the age of 39) and got measured, I had lost an inch. :P About 2 years later I started taking yoga, and after about a year I had gotten my inch back!

gray eyed girl 10-21-2005 01:26 AM

I'm the tallest so far, I think - I'm 6 feet (and a debatable half-inch) and I'd love to lose a couple of inches along with all these pounds. Nothing quite slams a woman's self esteem into the ground like being called "sir" and having men tell you how you could beat them up (this happened when I was thin, too - it has to do with the height, not the weight).

:(

xostephie 10-21-2005 01:34 AM

hehe...im 5'1- and I LOVE it!
Wanna know why??:P
I get to be lazy, lol. Like I don't have to bother with the hassle of climbing up that step ladder to try and change that lightbulb- because sadly, even with the stool I can't reach it:P Which then saves me the hassle of doing it-cause I can get someone else(like the boyfriend-which unfortunately, i don't have right now, lol) to do it. Good thing I don't live alone though-I'd become the town lamp woman.
Is there such a thing? lol

shrinkingchica 10-21-2005 01:59 AM

5'4 and 1/2. I think that the extra 1/2 inch is worth mentioning.

josie4 10-21-2005 08:24 AM

I'm 5'2".

girl_in_cullowhee 10-21-2005 10:14 AM

I'm 5'9 1/2" I've always wanted to be a bit shorter

KTna 10-21-2005 11:58 AM

Star 10-21-2005 12:03 PM
