  • That is soooo great to hear, psych girl!!! Now I'm looking forward to 2 cheat meals a week. Hopefully I'll still keep losing. Thank you for mentioning that about the metabolism. That helps explain why everytime I cheat, the next day I usually lose a pound or 2 rather than gain. I love it, but couldn't understand why. Thanks!!!
  • All I can tell you is that it worked for me and I had great results - I hope that it works for you, too!! It sure helped a lot with the unnecessary feelings of guilt that I had... I found that after "messing up" I lost more weight the next day, too... Our bodies are kind of funny things sometimes - I think that we need to 'trick' them... Good luck!!
  • ok not that I am trying to promote drinking here, BUT, you can have a totally carb free drink if you drink diet soda and clear liquors, such as vodka, gin, etc. My husband and I get together with friends on a scheduled monthly mingle and I didn't have to feel left out. I drank socially with the rest, just stuck to diet sprite and vodka. worked well, no weight gain!
  • Thank you very much for all the great suggestions. It really helps get your motivation back! I usually drink screwdrivers(O.J. & vodka) when I go out but this weekend I think I'm going to switch to a diet soda and vodka and see how I like it. Thanks!
