Ticker & Sig Goals Post em

  • Hey everyone.. I have been reading all those ticker \ Signature goals and they rock.
Lets post them and take a look at them together.

I had a goal in my sig area for my birthday which was to be at 230 pounds byt July 3rd. I came close 5 pounds away but thats alright very close is still good by me.

I have now changed that to a Halloween Goal and I want to be at 200 Pounds by Halloween.
  • 200 by August 8th, the start of school!

And 190 by the end of August, as a end-of-summer challenge.
  • I'd like to be 140 by my birthday- Aug 9th, and at goal weight by the time autumn quarter starts in late September
  • i want to be 200 lbs by october 31. long term is to get to 130 lbs by next july 04
  • I wanted to be 130 by July 1st, and didn't quite make it at 133-135. My next short goal will be my final goal, and I *know* how hard it is to lose the last 10. So, I'm not sure what an appropriate time frame will be?? I originally was going to do 120 by August 1st, but I think 10 pounds in a month is pushing it.
  • My current goal is 212 by August 1st. I would LOVE to be at 205 by September, as that's what I weighed when I got pregnant with my first child. It just depends, though. As long as I lose it all eventually, that's what really matters. My original goal was to lose 83 pounds and I'm 26 pounds down so far.
  • I never set a goal date, just decided on an approximate weight I wanted to get to as soon as I could get to it. Was 2 pounds shy of it when I got the news that I was pregnant. So it will just hafta wait.
  • I want to be 170 by August 31, 2005 and be 140 ASAP, preferrable by New Years and when I make that goal.. i would like to loss about another 15 before September 1, 2006 for my wedding :-)
  • I want to be at 175 by my birthday--August 9th. However, my weight loss has been going so slow I don't know if I can do it...
  • Good idea for a thread! I like reviewing my goals often:

1st short-term goal: Another 2 pounds and I'll have lost 10% of the 200 pounds I started with. I've read that docs say that losing 10% can significantly decrease potential for hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterole, etc.

2nd short-term goal: I've been losing 6 pounds per month for the past 3 months, for a total of 18 pounds lost. I hope to continue at that rate for the next few months. Then, in 12 more pounds, I'll be OUT of the BMI "obese" category and into the "overweight" category for my height. At 6 pounds per month, that goal will hopefully be met around September 1.

Not really sure what my long-term "final" goal should be. I'll be happy with anything in the 120s. I'll continue with my "new" eating lifestyle and see where I stop. Hoping that happens late spring or early summer next year.
