  • I really appreciate everything you all have said! It's so nice to be able to bounce things off of others. I really know no one else with weight problems that I can talk to! Anyways, not sure yet but I stepped on the scale today and am showing a 2lb loss! I'm not holding my breath but I'm hoping that is the end of this plateau! It's hard to believe that it can last so long!

    I'm not sure what has gotten my going again. Maybe the weight lifting I've been doing is finally helping, I do drink lots of water, that's really all I drink besides a cup of coffee in the morning and I've also gone ahead and upped my calories just a bit. I guess we'll see if the weight keeps coming off.

    One thing I did realize is that when I used one of the calorie burning calculators online is that I am burning more calories exercising than what I had realized. If those calculators are even close to being correct then my calorie intake after exercise was only about 1000 calories a day and sometimes less. I've heard you shouldn't go below 1200 or you start to burn muscle and your metabolism can decrease.

    Anyways, whatever it was I'm hopeful that it's over now so I can get on with this weight loss! Besides, we're going to Hawaii next month and I'd like to be at least a little smaller!
