WEll here I am back from the dead. I weigh in at 161.5, but need someone to use a Tazar on me for not exercising for the past 1.5 weeks. My last posting had me going on a trip to visit relatives and get caught up and then meeting dh at my brothers about 5 hours away. Well to make a long story short. Dh stuck his nose in a big issue that had nothing to do with him, and made a very ugly scene. Hurt some of my family with his attempted actions and I am still po'd at him. I have stuck to my diet, but not exercised as I should. Thank god for some good habit forming and determinations that it did not totally throw me for a loop. Today is my offical measure day and also I am trying to get caught up with 3fatchicks. I could boo hoo all day over this but won't bore everyone, but will say this. I felt like giving him the big "D" word and going my own way! That is some what of an explaintation of how hard this all hit me! I really think my loss of the 25 pounds has given me confidence to stand up to him and not let him bully me! I think he has been very shocked that I took a tough love attitude with him over this and will not pudge off of my position. Normally, I am the peace maker between us. He is still in the dog house and he knows it "big time".

Its really something how our "weight" can stifle far more than just our "physical" actions.

PEG!! Congratulations on the getting below 200! I’m so jealous! *wink* I’m trying to get past my 300lb marker. I’m so happy for you! I’m next! hehehehe Diane – Missed you too! Gald yer back! I and thanks for the info on Splenda and the Apple Sauce trick. I stopped using regular cooking oil and switched to Olive Oil. I heard it was better for your Cholesterol. But that Applesauce trick sounds really good as well. Hope everyone had a good Holiday Weekend! My weekend was… long and stressful. I really hate this paper I am doing for my Linguistics class. OY! Sunday however, we did some bowling to work off some stress, course that didn’t help because I seem to have forgotten how to bowl LOL! Brain is on homework can’t seem to concentrate…sigh… so on our way home from the bowling alley (about noon) I go, you know what, it’s hot. Lets just go to the beach. And just like that James and Brit perk up LOL! So we ran home, got out all our beach stuff, went to walmart bought some ice, water, sodas and what not and got the kid a boogie board. Let me tell you this… it was the best spur of the moment idea! I had a blast and brit loved her new boogie board. I wish I wasn’t afraid of the water :( It looked like so much fun that I wanted to do it. Stems from a childhood tragedy sigh. But we had fun… got a lot of walking in as well. But I am going to admit, Holidays are my weakness… I’ve managed to get weekends under control… but those darn holidays… and those darn bbq’s and dinner celebrations. Even the rats got ribs for holidays LOL I sure they packed on a few pounds as well. I definitely pigged out :ink: I weighed myself this morning, I gained 3lbs over the entire weekend :o ICK! But I’m okie with it, because I know I was able to do it the first time, I can do it again. Just that I don’t think I’ll reach my Goal Weight by my Goal Date (My Birthday) heh… This is what FitDay has for my goal Weight Goal Your goal is to weigh 350 lb by 06/30/2004 Goal Progress You are currently 13 lb above the target weight. The deadline for your goal is 29 days (4 weeks, 1 days) away. To meet your goal you need to lose about 3.14 lb per week. I think 3 pounds is a lot to loose in a week. I was aiming for at least 1-2lbs. Although at times I have lost 3-4lbs a week. Maybe it’s possible. I’ll do my best and whatever I weigh on June 30th is what I’ll weigh, I am still happy that I am loosing weight. Wow your attitude sounds so upbeat and wonderful. Hey, walking on the beach is EXTRA GOOD for toning up those leg muscles. Years ago @ 20 years I stayed with a friend for about a month in a beach house and walked every day up and down that water edge and man what a difference in my legs...they were gorgeous...oh well maybe again someday, but you're right you did it once you'll do it again Diane |

why is it that about 90% of us have to be with men who are poopheads? dont get me wrong i love my hubby to death ....but just some times he can be soooooo hard to live with. it is a good thing he drives semi and is gone quite a bit or we wouldnt get along as well as we do. hope you work things out or kick him out what ever you choose. just DONT let him or anyone else keep you from sticking to plan and doing what is best for you and your health!! i wish you luck and my thoughts are with you. sue marie, thanks and hope you hit your goal just remember that it all takes time and a small backslide is NO reason to give up. you need to do this for your health and everyone is here to help in times of trouble sticking to plan. jaymi, congrats!! keep up the good work. ralphmarie, good advice ......sounds like you are right on track glad you got everything up and running again. Peg congrats on passing the 200.....I cant wait until that day... I hope eveyone had a good weekend, I barbequed on sunday with family and I thought I was bad, but when I weighed myself (every monday morning) today, I still had lost two pounds....thats 13 total since I started which was amonth ago, and that is above my goal of losing 10 pounds a month, so at this rate I should have no problem reaching my halloween goal! I told my Grandma What I have been up to and I told her I lost 13 pounds already and she said...."Thats good....you have a long way to go!!" Isn't that supportive....he he he, considering I am her favorite she is really good at those backwards compliments.... but I know she was right. well talk to you all soon, Jamie |
